MYSORE PAK SWEET RECIPE:
Ingredients:
200g gram flour
500g sugar
200g ghee
Instructions:
Grease a square or rectangular pan with ghee and set it aside.
In a heavy-bottomed pan, add the sugar and enough water to just cover the sugar. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves completely.
Add the ghee to the pan and stir until it melts completely and combines with the sugar syrup.
Gradually add the gram flour to the pan, stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming.
Continue cooking the mixture over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens and starts to pull away from the sides of the pan. This should take about 15-20 minutes.
Pour the mixture into the greased pan and let it cool for a few minutes.
While the mixture is still warm, use a sharp knife to cut it into diamond-shaped pieces.
Allow the Mysore Pak to cool completely before removing it from the pan and serving.
